Get ready for a moveable feast Saturday when the Worcester Food Truck Festival pulls into Elm Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m, July 14, 2012. The gathering of gourmet food trucks will feature great food, lots of trucks and other fun activities for foodies of all ages.
Attendees may purchase “taste tickets” to be used like currency at the trucks. You can buy 10 taste tickets for $13 and 20 for $25. (Each truck decides how many tickets it takes for a treat.) There is no additional admission fee. Participating trucks include Away Café, Go Fish!, Big Moe’s M&M Ribs, Grilled Cheese Nation, Bon Me, Juniper Farms Ice Cream, Boston Super Dog, Kona Ice (owners Ellen and Shawn Smith of Worcester are pictured), Captain Marden’s Cod Squad, Lobsta Love, Daddy’s Fried Dough, Max Dawgs, Frozen Hoagies, the Sweet Truck, Gabi’s Smoke Shack, Trolley Dogs and Boston’s mobile cookie truck Monstah Cookie.
